At the Aeronautical Technical Education School No. 3144 “Captain Marcelo Pedro Lotufo” in Salta, Argentina, we have been training future aviation professionals for over 30 years. Being the only school in Northwest Argentina with an aeronautical focus, we are proud to provide hands-on education to more than 600 students across our Basic and Advanced Cycles. Our students gain real-world experience working with Continental engines. We have a Continental IO-540 engine mounted on a Cessna 206, which we use to perform start-up and minor maintenance exercises. Additionally, we have two Continental IO-520 engines used for overhaul and parts identification training. These engines allow our students to learn more than just the technical aspects; they help them appreciate the precision, reliability, and legacy of Continental engineering. It is an honor to help prepare the next generation of Aeronautical Technicians and keep Powering Legacies Forward through education.
